The clash of generations...

It's been seven years since my son and I, 14 and 46 at the time, started guitar lessons with Xavier and what a great experience. During these years we had the chance to discover music both in its practical and theoretical aspects without ever getting bored and this, distilled by a pro, an enthusiast.

The hours went by and quite honestly we would often have stayed longer. Add to the recipe group lessons at the end of the session and you had the ingredients for success. Each end of the session was an opportunity to get together with other budding musicians, drummers, bassists, and to play all together the pieces that we had worked on during the lessons, allowing us, in addition to our notions on our guitars, to play in harmony with other instruments.

Finally, the "consecration" in June 2012 to more than 50 years first small concert on stage with my other son, drummer, a moment that I will never forget.... If I had to say just a few words about Xavier's classes, it's "don't hesitate, go for it! “.

I started playing the guitar when I was 16.

Not really gifted and alone to discover an instrument, the progression was slow to finally lead to a dead end and ... abandon the guitar.

Forty years later, at the end of my professional career, I received a surprising gift from my relatives: my old refurbished "Otwin Harmony".

The adventure had started again, but with an imperative, to find a guitar lesson that lived up to my wishes: that was Music mania.

Admittedly, it took me a long time to lose the bad reflexes acquired by ill-adapted beginnings, but finally, thanks to Xavier, I was finally able to take this revenge.

Correcting my rhythms, finally reaching the solo by playing on the scales, understanding the music and finally, through ensemble lessons, playing with other musicians, which was an opportunity to bond knowledge, until the consecration: playing in a pop-rock group.
