Do you like rock and blues? Want to progress quickly? Want to learn to play in a group? How to make a good intro and a good outro? Meet passionate teachers and interesting people? So don't hesitate, take lessons with Xavier at Guitarmania.
Individual or group lessons give you the necessary basics as well as the tips and tricks to play the most complicated parts of your favorite songs. Then, cherries (and I insist on the plural of cherries) on the cake, the ensemble lessons with the other student musicians of drums mania, vocal and bass lessons where the pieces learned during the individual lessons or collectives but also jam sessions and workshops. Within months, I was able to play a setlist of my favorite bands as well as more complex scores.
All this in a good mood, discussing this or that group, guitar technique, studio, recording, stage.
In short, if you want to become a seasoned guitarist by acquiring the necessary basics and then the most advanced techniques, Xavier is the place to go.

"I took guitar lessons for several years with Xavier, who gave me the
foot in the stirrup, as being one of the rare guitar teachers who has a method, who knows where he is going and who provides quality theoretical support. We progress from one year to the next with a real logic, very far from the result if we seek to train alone on the internet where a thousand possibilities quickly lose you. besides, Xavier is a real musician professional, with an impressive background and who knows how to play everything. icing on the cake, I particularly appreciate the specialized mini-courses in small groups during which we do a lot of work in a short time...

Registering with Xavier, at Music mania, means embarking on a musical and human adventure. My history with music and the guitar as an instrument dates back to my adolescence. I was motivated thanks to the quality of the relationship and the wise advice of my teacher. This is why I thank him for these years of musical teaching which, over time, has turned out to be a real passion. He gave me a taste for work, perseverance and that is priceless! The lessons were great moments of work in confidence and good humor. A relational approach and a method that have reinforced my confidence in mastering my instrument better and better. I appreciate his patience, his competence and his talent, very involved with the rigor essential to the serious study of music. He respected my personality and I progressed. He gave me the right exercises and advice for working outside of class. I encourage anyone with the real motivation to learn an instrument to embark on this wonderful adventure. And today, I join the Musician's Institute thanks to him.

And the music will live as long as it lives….the Blues
I have already taken two years of group guitar lessons with Xavier Cevrin and I can say, in summary, that we are progressing quickly and in a good mood. Theory, practice, ensemble lessons, end-of-year concert, advice of all kinds for those who like to play in front of an audience. Everyone finds something there and also people to talk to about our passion, the guitar. Meetings with other students (vocals, drums, bass) are very enriching. I also took private lessons with Xavier, who, as a true professional, knows how to adapt to the level of the learner to ensure constant progress.

If you are looking for one of the best guitarists in our flat country to take lessons and grow very quickly, look no further! Having started learning the guitar as an autodidact for three years, I wanted to evolve further. It was then that I discovered MMI and met Xavier Cevrin. From the first lesson, I was able to see his professionalism, his talent, his desire to share his passion and his ability to adapt to the level and objectives of each in order to obtain optimal results in a minimum of time. . I can say without any hesitation that if I have reached a certain level at present, it is largely thanks to his pedagogy.

I started playing the guitar on my own for a few months, or should I say try to play before taking lessons with Xavier. Within weeks, I had already progressed to a level that I might never have reached on my own. And this is only the beginning... The lessons are very adapted to the student, well structured, the teacher listens to the student. The icing on the cake, the ensemble classes. It is a real pleasure to share your learning with other musicians and thus to evolve together.

Wow, I've been taking Guitar Mania lessons for two years already!?!
Xavier's very comprehensive approach allows me to easily fill in gaps both in theory and in technique.
He also offers various pieces in styles ranging from traditional Blues to modern R&B, which allows me to expand my musical culture. In addition, each semester, the students look forward to the group course which allows us to work on the games in groups under the watchful eye and the wise advice of a pro!
Ah, I almost forgot, the icing on the cake: the great return of the end-of-year concert, which will project us into real stage conditions... How...? Stage fright, me...? Not at all :-D
Long Live Guitar Mania!

The clash of generations...
It's been seven years since my son and I, 14 and 46 at the time, started guitar lessons with Xavier and what a great experience. During these years we had the chance to discover music both in its practical and theoretical aspects without ever getting bored and this, distilled by a pro, an enthusiast.
The hours went by and quite honestly we would often have stayed longer. Add to the recipe group lessons at the end of the session and you had the ingredients for success. Each end of the session was an opportunity to get together with other budding musicians, drummers, bassists, and to play all together the pieces that we had worked on during the lessons, allowing us, in addition to our notions on our guitars, to play in harmony with other instruments.
Finally, the "consecration" in June 2012 to more than 50 years first small concert on stage with my other son, drummer, a moment that I will never forget.... If I had to say just a few words about Xavier's classes, it's "don't hesitate, go for it! “.

I have been taking classes for a few years. What I find enriching is the multiple approach of the method which includes theory, learning of known songs and putting it into practice during ensemble lessons".

I started playing the guitar when I was 16.
We were at the beginning of the sixties and the Academies of Music did not want to hear about rock, pop, folk...
Not really gifted and alone to discover an instrument, the progression was slow to finally lead to a dead end and ... abandon the guitar.
Forty years later, at the end of my professional career, I received a surprising gift from my relatives: my old refurbished "Otwin Harmony".
The adventure had started again, but with an imperative, to find a guitar lesson that lived up to my wishes: that was Music mania.
Admittedly, it took me a long time to lose the bad reflexes acquired by ill-adapted beginnings, but finally, thanks to Xavier, I was finally able to take this revenge.
Correcting my rhythms, finally reaching the solo by playing on the scales, understanding the music and finally, through ensemble lessons, playing with other musicians, which was an opportunity to bond knowledge, until the consecration: playing in a pop-rock group.
Thanks Xavier!
